What Is The Resale Value Of Japanese Cars Imported To Australia or Canada?

Posted on May 26th, 2010 by admin

It should be great if you can give specific resale prices or margins for popular Japanese cars.

It depends on the specific cars you want to import & resell. For example, these are the resale prices of cars imported from Japan to Australia:

2003 Mitsubishi EVO VIII GSR ~~ $36,900
2003 Nissan Skyline V35 350GT ~~ $29,000
1999 Subaru WRX Race Car ~~ $16,500
1995 Nissan Skyline R33 GTR ~~ $63,500 (Hardcore – Show or Drag)
1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR ~~ $61,200 (Highly modified V Spec)

Most of these are quite popular among used car buyers, but the primary interest is with the Australian / Canadian base of performance car enthusiasts. That’s where the real meat of this industry is.

Is it weird to be a Nascar fan but drive a Japanese car?

Posted on May 26th, 2010 by admin

So I saw a Toyota pick up with a number 9 on it. Looked all redneck and all, but it was a Japanese car. It was almost all out redneck except that it was all decorated on a Japanese car. So that looked weird to me.
dodge is made here.

A few possible senarios could happen here.

1) You were in Califnornia, and it was a "wanna be" redneck.

2) The "cowboy" in question cares about the enviornment

3) This particular "cowboy" has accepted Toyota’s dominance in the Truck series, but not yet in the Cup series and likes Kasey Khane.

4) You are trying to make this issue much bigger than it really is.

To avoid the golden week traffic jam in Central Hokkaido, which way should I drive towards?

Posted on May 26th, 2010 by admin

My starting point in Sapporo, should I drive towards biei or hakkodate to avoid the jam?

Since no one will go to Biei at that time of the year, go there but really it will be a wasted trip as there is nothing to see. Nothing is green and the fields are just barren. There will be a lot of traffic though towards Hakodate, most of the time the highway has only one lane, so you can’t even get out. It is the worst place to go during GW and all the hotels are always full. Make sure you have a reservation. I had to drive around until 1am to get a room at a motel once and was stuck in traffic for about 6 hours.

It is clearly meant to portray a Chrysanthemum – the national flower of Japan. To be more precise, it is a variety with incurving petals.

Any nice but cheap ryokan near Disneyland Resort Tokyo?

Posted on May 26th, 2010 by admin

Looking for a good value but nice Ryokan or bed and breakfast with easy acess ie train, bus or within walking distance to the Disneyland Resort Tokyo. Otherwise, any good recommendations for a nice Ryokan or b&b anywhere in Tokyo? Impt matter is the price has to be right… Thanks!

The area around TDL is modern area and difficult to find a ryokan. There are only hotels around there.

So you have to find ryokan which is a bit far away from Disneyland.

The below is one of them, Business Hotel Matsushima

http://www.matsushima-ryokan.com/

http://www.matsushima-ryokan.com/access.html

Contact them by email. It’s 5,000-6,000 yen for 1 night, 1 person.

And it’s about 30-50 minutes from TDL by train.
