Battalion Wars 2 – Mission 4: Showdown At Big Honshu – One Unit Run (1/2)

Posted on June 1st, 2010 by admin

The Master Knight has been offered a challenge by the Hyphy Movement, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn’t deserve to call itself the “Yay Area”, the shallow girls who would say “wanna suck my pee” just to mock him, and the Oakland rioters. The challenge is to battle against a Battlestation. There are, of course, conditions:
No Grunts
No Assault Veterans
Light Tank only
Big Honshu (HA! Take that, meme.)

The resistance do not trust their enemies, so they stand ready with a Battleship and a Recon in case their opposition break their word.

(Yep. Battalion Wars 2 also has at least one mission that can be cleared with only one unit for plenty of the dirty stuff. Thanks to Ephraim225 for the idea. This, of course, is not a Perfect S Rank run by any means. In fact, my Speed was very awful.)

Can’t decide whether to go to Honshu (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka) or Hokkaido (Sapporo) in early June 2009. ?

Posted on May 29th, 2010 by admin

Heard so much about Japan scenery and tourist attractions. Cherry blossoms and lavender seasons that attractive? Any recommendations on where and what to do there?

If you are going in early June, I would recommend you to go to Hokkaido, because Honshu, Shikoku and Kyuushuu island will be socked in the rain due to the rainy season. Cherry blossom is done by then. I am not sure if lavender is blossoming in early June, but Hokkaido is better place to be, weather wise.

Why is gasoline cheaper in Hokkaido than in Honshu?

Posted on May 25th, 2010 by admin

I noticed on my trip there it was 119 Yen/l
@ Maybe??? You got it all wrong!!!
@ Joriental it has always been cheaper!!!

Yes, you are right, it is cheaper and that is because it has a cold climate. Prices of gasoline and kerosene are cheaper than in the rest of Japan, like a present from the government. Employees from Hokkaido also get heating aid in winter from their companies, so in the end they never pay for heating! It is a bit unfair to the rest of Japan as air conditioning in summer gets very costly too and no aid is given.
