I would like to know if anyone has ever purchased Shiba Inu puppies from Honshu Kennels (www.honshukennels.com) and would appreciate if they would share their experience with the purchases?

I’m reading up on the breeder now. (I haven’t purchased a Shiba, but I’d love to help!)
They seem pretty good to me, they have a lot of useful information on their website, and under ‘our dogs’ they don’t have many up there (2, correct?)
There isn’t too much information about them up there though, so I would call them and talk to them a little more to find out about their breeding practices.
I do like that they have health testing up there, health guarantee, and they they only have a limited number of breedings a year (though I would much prefer it to be 1-2 litters a year)
So definitely give them a call, talk with them, learn more about their dogs, breeding practices and showing and see what you come up with.
You can also check out the Shiba Inu breed club, they should have a list of ethical and responsible breeders that may have a dog you’re looking for as well.
