Japanese car recalls a sign of economic warfare

Posted on June 1st, 2010 by admin

Considered as the most reliable just recently, now Toyota and Honda have to call back their cars. Some say it’s a weird fluke that all this happened after the Government took over American car makers. Wayne Madsen agrees and says that this is a big coincidence that Honda and Toyota have had major recalls in the past few weeks.

What japanese car will be good for a 17 year old?

Posted on May 31st, 2010 by admin

The reason why i want a japanese car is because they are the best people in technology

A Toyota Yaris. I know lots of people are saying Honda Civic which is a fab car – but being 17, you need something reliable and affordable in terms of insurance.

The Yaris is cheaper to insure, in a low tax band, and Toyota is reliable (Japanese).

Problems with the Yaris are easy to sort out and get fixed cheap.

Try looking on Autotrader (not sure if it is available in the US if that is where you’re from), and pick a reasonable one.
Use the number plate to get an idea of the insurance quote and you’ll get a fair idea of what you’ll want to do.

Good luck!

Is it weird to be a Nascar fan but drive a Japanese car?

Posted on May 26th, 2010 by admin

So I saw a Toyota pick up with a number 9 on it. Looked all redneck and all, but it was a Japanese car. It was almost all out redneck except that it was all decorated on a Japanese car. So that looked weird to me.
dodge is made here.

A few possible senarios could happen here.

1) You were in Califnornia, and it was a "wanna be" redneck.

2) The "cowboy" in question cares about the enviornment

3) This particular "cowboy" has accepted Toyota’s dominance in the Truck series, but not yet in the Cup series and likes Kasey Khane.

4) You are trying to make this issue much bigger than it really is.

OLD SCHOOL JAPANESE CAR MONTAGE!!!

Posted on May 25th, 2010 by admin

Were ahead of our time…are you???

JASSIC is a term coined by Brenda Ayala and Diasiss in June of 2006. The moderators of http://WWW.JASSICS.COM have originated this term to describe a Japanese classic car and culture. It is combined from two words – Japanese and classic.A JASSIC can refer to many cars considered Japanese and classic, but the word classic as used with the term JASSIC doesnt necessarily mean a Japanese car 25 years or older. It is used with this definition of classic below.

CLASSIC

Belonging to the highest rank or class;
Serving as the established model or standard-a classic.
Having lasting significance or worth; enduring.

ORIGIN

http://WWW.JASSICS.COM moderator DIASISS known for being controversial, innovative, and ambitious, was becoming frustrated with most car cultures not recognizing Japanese cars and their controversial urban culture. In an attempt to combat popular culture and solve this problem he thought it would be wise to invent a coined term to which he is quoted saying if you can know a car type and culture by simply saying American Muscle or Tunerwhy not a term for the ghetto and urban old-school Japanese cars and culture!!! Brenda Ayala suggested, why not call them JASSICS??? which caught on very quickly and was very well received once used. The term was also created to make a statement to the car world that Japan CAN make a classic car and can be recognized as a force and rival for American and European classic cars to reckon with.. The terms JASSIC and JASSCAR (Japanese classic car) have caught on very quickly since

STYLE

Not to be confused with Tuners, JASSIC culture has a very new approach to the car world. JASSIC cars can be defined as, but not limited to80s 70s and early 90s Toyota’s, Nissan’s, Mitsubishi’s, Acura’s, Infiniti’s, Lexus, and Mazda’s with style and aggressive design that look like they were designed to make a statement of pride to the Japanese car world and world alike. This is being done without excessive and overdone commercial friendly customizing. Some notable Jassics include:

Mitsubishi Starion’s/Chrysler Conquest TSI’s
MK1,MK2 and MK3 Supra’s
Early model Nissan Maxima’s
Classic Nissan Z cars
Classic Mazda Rx7’s

The motto of http://WWW.JASSICS.COM isYES JASSICS CAN!!!

Some catch-phrases of Jassics.com are JASSICS…the final car statement, “The NEXT car movement”, “you’re either with us…or behind us!”

In Which Countries Outside Japan Are Japanese Car Imports Popular?

Posted on May 25th, 2010 by admin

If you know of a guide or report about the Japanese car import market, please let me know.

Canada, USA and Australia are the ‘Top 3′ markets for Japanese car imports.

I know for a fact that importing used Japanese cars is big business in Canada & USA. There’s a thriving market for these imports, which in turn are modified and used by the importer — or re-sold to hardcore enthusiasts across the country. The same goes for performance car parts with the ‘Made in Japan’ tag.

Bottomline is, the Japanese were technical innovators of the automotive world, and their creations since the 1980’s are as much a topic of popular culture as they are of that indescribable ‘extra’. They go the mile and they do it in style!

How Much To Import A Japanese Car To UK?

Posted on May 23rd, 2010 by admin

Looking for an idea as to how much a used Japanese car might cost to import to England.

Prices vary based on mileage and usage factors of the car. Just this evening I was at a London dealer of Japanese cars, enquiring about the Nissan 180SX. After some discussion he gave me a full list of used Japanese cars that could be imported to the UK. Here’s a selection of that list for your reference:

• 1996 Nissan Largo Highway Star — £3,500
• 1996 Nissan 180SX Turbo — £5,995
• 1995 Toyota MR2 ‘T’ Bar Turbo — £4,800
• 2002 Toyota Estima Hybrid — £10,995
• 2005 Subaru Impreza STI — £15,999

He also recommended a site (in the source) that makes the job of importing a car from Japan to UK much easier. It’s maintained by a respected auto expert who specializes in Japanese car imports to 4 different countries. I’m sure it should help you as well.
