The reason I say the wild is because you will want to pick fruit that is far away from cars and other contaminants. The next option you have is to go to a local farm and purchase it there. Personally going to farms is one of my favorite ways to source good fruit because it is very easy to do. The last option you have is to start your own garden and grow the fruit yourself. This is a very good option for people that want complete control of the wine making process.
