If you are in the market for a California wine club then I would highly recommend looking up reviews of the club with that exact name. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with what you find out. The only thing I will caution you about is that you might get a little bit bored if you just restrict yourself to wines from that particular region. You might consider just joining for a few months and then switching to a club from a different region. Just keep cycling through clubs and you will slowly build up a very impressive collection of wine from all around the world. This is what I did and it worked for me.
