It was no one who …
It was no one who is a scientist or geologist. Just alot of people who are interested in earthquakes and are concerned about the activity they’ve had in the are the last couple of years.

Are you thinking this event could be Japan? They’ve had a lot of oarfish beachings lately and I personally don’t think they’d do that over a 6.6 .

Thanks a lot for your answer and keep on your great work.

    Then, just by …
Then, just by curiosity, I looked for earthquakes in 1913 and read that there were two big earthquakes in Asmara (1913 and 1915), about which this is stated in Wikipedia: “The data as to the magnitude of the earthquake is imprecise due to the frequency and magnitude of aftershocks.[1] The “felt” area of the earthquake extended into Northern Ethiopia as well as Kassala in Sudan. This earthquake caused significant damage in Asmara and nearby Keren.”

    I tried to …
I tried to understand the concept of “solar minimum” and, meanwhile, found this information given by NASA: “There were no sunspots observed on 266 of [2008's] 366 days (73%). To find a year with more blank suns, you have to go all the way back to 1913, which had 311 spotless days…”

Am I expecting a quake this week in the US? No. Is it more likely in the next week than it would normally be? It seems so to me.

are you expecting the US to have a quake?

    You have such a …
You have such a calming voice… you could say the world was going to go poof tomorrow, and it would sound great, LOL. You’d make a good hynotist.
On the subject though, can relate to Fal2grace’s comment about time shifts. Actually, don’t know what it is, but 2 or 3 times in the last day, it felt like everything was moving back and forth. I’ve only felt that a few times in the last two years before that, so that’s a lot. It’s like a subtle unstableness or shifting feeling.
    Thanks again.

    The aftershocks in …
The aftershocks in Chile seem a bit more intense than usual. But the pattern is consistent with other big quakes like the one in Sichuan. A 7.2 as an aftershock 12 days later seems a bit much, but it didn’t seem to surprise USGS. It could just be the result of such a large quake, an 8.8. My theories indicate the quakes may be getting worse and more frequent because of the extended solar minimum. But not sure how much of an effect there will be- that’s the motivation to get a forecasting system.

  14. Chatlein Says:

    Based on your …
Based on your experience, can you tell me whether it is normal that strong earthquakes have so many aftershocks as it is happening in Chile?
    Thank you.

    These coming are …
These coming are going to be HUGE compared to the ones that hit Chile & Haiti, I would imagine based on the sun’s activity now compared to then. I’m thinking North America, be on alert.

@dodgydodds This stuff = Earthquakes, solar phenomenon, etc. The biggest quakes recorded were long ago, and I don’t think the recent ones are anything other than a continuation of the same energies that have created them all along.

thanks for the responce my friend, just a lil confused as to what context to take your responce. Im very aware of teslas work, Your comment ”this stuff” you referrin to H.a.a.r.p or the scieence of the suns electromagnetic forces on earth.
Sorry if that sounds a stupid responce lol!!

Thanks Goldtube2. But I’m not looking for believers, rather thinkers. This is far from done and it needs valid criticism and collaboration as much as anything. Study the science. :-) Thanks for the support.

Hola John — I’m not going to lie to you, but I don’t know any of this scientific stuff you sometimes talk about; however, I’m beginning to become a believer. I’ve been following you for a while now and I’m quite impressed with your knowledge on how our Sun effects the Earth. Please keep up the good work – BRAVO! :D
