What car do you prefer, Japanese Cars or american car??? tuner vs. muscle?

I love Japanese cars!!! i think there better because they handle better, more affortable yet still fast! they have badass cars that you can customize to make it even cooler!
and as well for europian cars, there pretty cool too!!!

First of all I would like to say that I like both types of cars but if i had to pick it would definitely have to be Japanese Imports because they are gorgeous looking cars and i know that some american cars look good to but they are aggressive looking and shout about the power beneath the hood whereas Japanese cars are not as aggressive and they are nice looking cars but without the aggression screaming about the power that is beneath the hood.
Japanese cars are also better because they can take corners properly whereas american cars are good in a straight line but try to take a corner in one and your dead !!
Also japanese cars are a lot more easily tuned and they look awesome when they are fully kitted out with a drift body kit and around 600bhp.

Hmm Ricers or All American Goodness.

Actualy the Japanese cars would be a better choice these day because of the miles per gallon ratio. I gota admit they know what they are doing. But the American built cars just feel so… Americany? It’s a hard choice. But have to make the more logical choice and go with the Japanese cars on this one.

I originally liked japanese cars only because it’s easy to customize them… looks great after modding. I’m beginning to like american cars as well because of the power… but thats kinda bad for the gas and environment. Overall, I would prefer japanese because they last longer, good mileage, and looks good when tuned.

I prefer American, but there are some nice Japanese cars out there, too. I had a Chevy (Isuzu) Spectrum once, and I really had no complaints about it, except I blew out 5th gear because I was mad at someone. Don’t go thinking that all Japanese cars do everything better than all American cars, though. It’s not 1965 anymore. I think the Chevy Malibu and most Pontiacs have great styling, handling, fuel economy and durability. Oh, and hot rods and muscle cars rule!

Its strange as where i live iam a member of a joined club which mixes muscle with tuner and they are classed the same without the vs infact its mainly muscle and import against Euro.

As for the all American angle,i had similar circumstance a while ago,an older lady came across to me and asked what make my car was as she liked it the badge on the front of mine is an s instead of the Nissan sign which is on the back,i told her and she kicked off about not buying Japanese due to the war etc then her Japanese made phone rang and she walked off.Si i find it like that, all these people whom say all American are often using foreign PC’s and phones etc and they should realise companies like Ford are joined with shares in Firms like Mazda and Nissan. And also share vehicles IE the Ford Maverick is a Nissan Terrano II and so on.

As and overall view of Japanese cars i do like the style and looks of these cars and iam a import fanatic but as said there is some Muscle that i would have also.
Power wise due to rules in Japan older models where restricted in there bhp figures although IE true running power of a Skyline GTR is around 500bhp with stock internals so more like its actual running power. So the power issue with Muscle and import have never been an issue with me.and its great to see the power figures Japanese car owners can get out such small engines a tribute to them.

    German cars!

You totally overlooked European metal, ignoring Audi, BMW, GM’s Opel brand (I have a few of those) Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen.
All of these marques have a few interesting cars in their line-up. And there are a lot of low-volume, little-known makers of hyper-cars, as well as very specialised tuning companies in Germany.

American Muscle is great but its past it’s time. During the late 60’s early 70’s American cars were awesome. My parents grew up near Woodward Avenue. An area natorious for street racing during the 60’s-70’s. Every year we go see the Dream Cruise. I love the old Chargers, Mustang, GTO, Cobra, Chevells, Road Runners Vetts and Cameros. I love the rumble of a v-8, but I also love the sound of a turbo spooling up, the wastegate screaming and the PSHHHHHT!! of a blow off valve. Times have changed I just feel American cars had their time in the spot light, now its the Japenese cars that kids are going to be telling their kids about.
