Having booked this hotel and then stumbling over the reviews I was unsure what to expect. To be honest, I cannot believe people are posting complaints about Lack of roast potatoes when the cost of this hotel is exceptional value for money. It is not trying to be the Ritz and if you want that, be prepared to pay for it. This is a very well priced family run hotel and a refreshing change to the Chain Dubrovnik hotels of this world that lack personality and have spotty teenagers serving you who take little or no pride in what they do. The Dubrovnik is well run, clean and the staff actually bother to talk to you as a person, not just another punter. My room was contemporary and comfortable. The food was very good and the cooked breakfast was a simple classic affair that tasted superb. The raised bar area next to the reception is a great place to read a paper and enjoy a pint!
