Medical coverage outside the country is probably the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about cheap holiday insurance, but there are many other reasons to insure yourself before you travel. Lost, stolen or delayed baggage can be more than just an inconvenience – depending on what it is, it could be very expensive. Anything you can’t do without, such as important medical supplies or prescriptions, should be carried with you on a flight. But if this not practical, you need to be aware of the possibility of it going missing. And even if you do carry your important items with you, there is still a remote chance of them going missing.
